One feature I am keen about to add into WordPress is the typography. Font or typeface is something everyone going to want to change, and it should be within WordPress just like how menu feature (although fork from WooTheme) in today in WordPress.
WordPress can easily alter the body class to change background colour and image, why can’t it change font family too? I don’t see why it is not possible.
With the recent development of WordPress, it seems they are now changing from a content management system to an entire website builder – Gutenberg. I know, it may seem a bit ambitious to say so, but that should be the direction WordPress is working on.
Note that Gutenberg too does not have typography customization, and if and when WordPress is about to implement it, why not in the system itself instead of just within Gutenberg.
We see how customizer comes to live and everyone seems to be getting used to it, then comes the logo (although fork from Jetpack), favicon and why is it not typography!?
