I would agree to have the death sentence to stays instead of removed. One of the reasons people don’t go outside killing other people is the punishment you get after the action.
Punishment of holding up oneself inside a cell for a number of years with food, healthy activity and community (abide possible bad influences) is not exactly a severe punishment.
There is every reason to keep the death sentence, but only one – and only one – reason why we should repeal it – innocent people.
So we should work on a great investigation team instead of removing the whole jungle for one tree.
It is the punishment that stopping people from killing another people, period. The only one punishment that can stop people from doing something we all agree to not want to is to give it a severe punishment.
What is wrong with “deleting” a drug lord when you catch one? When you found a virus on your computer, you don’t keep it there until your computer dies down, you investigate what it does, how it does, how many it did and you delete it.
