Coming back home, I am deeply appreciate my Streamyx connection
Malaysia got to have the best Internet broadband, seeing how it developed, don’t compare to Singapore or Korea then. First thing we both did once I stepped back home was plugged in my laptop (Which I brought it to Indonesia) and start checking online credit report, bills and letters at home and none but not least – social network sites.

Strangely, it became something I need to check into daily. Not because I wanted to look for somebody to chat with, but to find new stuff, discover new things.
What’s happening?
If you ask me, I would say Twitter is the news portal I read everyday. Notice that it changed the question from “What are you doing?” to “What’s happening?“. So obviously, Tweeples (As in Twitter People or Twitter User) don’t want to know your location already, they wanted to know what is happening in your location instead.
Gossip or a new Topic?
I’ve just encountered a family, where they would talk about what this relative or that friends are doing. I’m not sure if I would say it is a gossip or a topic in a family conversation. The Facebook status stated “What’s on your mind?), whoever really falling too deep into the trap will soon discover that they should be too honest on Facebook.
If I would need to sum up these 2 social network sites. They ARE definitely about gossip and gossip and more gossip!
Streamyx, PayPal, Prudential, Maybank, Proton, Windows and all those big brand services providers has too much complaint online and offline?

Streamyx, claimed itself to be the fastest and most reliable broadband in Malaysia but did not kept its promises. PayPal transaction has been pissing people on and off for the refunding and their policies. Prudential unstable life insurance rates also a point. Maybank too, and I don’t want to mention too much hurt about Proton.
Why this happen? User database. The only answer I can find is the user base they have. The more users one brand has, the more complaint it seems to have too, because people talks.
Windows for a quick example, how many user has switched to become an Apple users? As for Apple users, how many percent market they have now? If you are anal enough, I’m sure you can find some complaints about it on the internet too.
Well, we as a users, the least we can do is, eat the shit. Because on their business, they already know their complaints, even if they are keen on solving the problem it takes time too.
P/S: I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days. I am NOT pissed by Streamyx this few days…
Went for a short jogging, to calm down my blood pressure. I can’t help but crying while jogging because the broadband here. I know it sound stupid, but for me, Internet is my rice bowl you understand, I can’t help myself to not to get mad for this kind of service I get. I tried Streamyx, P1 and Celcom, none of them provide a decent stable and reliable connectivity for me. They sure frequent disconnect if not can’t connect at all. I wonder what is the motive behind this connection problem Malaysia facing.
Malaysia isn’t a very developing country, with GDP close to USD3800 and above, a lot of things should also following up. Or I can only assume “service” in Malaysia is not on the par with any other country outside? Services from government firm, police and all are all lousy. That’s why no body bother to go to police station for report, not because Malaysian are kind person, it is because no service in Malaysia is reliable.
Too be more positive, it is good to have a jog too, at least I don’t need to waste money on weight loss pills for the wedding photo shooting. Sigh… Just when I am free to pursuit all the left-over work on hand, services like this hit harder than any other time.
So, I thought the sommon would give them some lesson on not to fool the customer again. Which I think it’s just useless, because they just so used to be like this since the first day of their existance.

It’s not about how they restoration going on, but rather, how they answer the customer that make me go nut. The other day, my itchy hand told me to search around the complaint people made in The Star online. Unfortunately, I only found a few, which I think The Star editor has been very hardworking on censoring a lot of them. What made this complaint so good? Well, Streamyx technicial actually replied back in The Star to make sure he is working fine now. My question? They how about people around the area that possibly having the same problem like him and just so fed up to even pick up the phone or online to do this complaint?
Giving one person satisfaction is just not the right thing to do. Just because they push, doesn’t mean they are exclusive in the matter. Search around the google about the complaint on Streamyx or Scream me or TMNut, I bet they can’t run away from the 10,000 pages. But really, does this matter to them (Streamyx)?
If you’re talking about a developing country (Like they mention for Malaysia) I would expect a better one, because “developing” means getting better and better to compete with the developed country. But if you’re talking about third world country wannabe, I think that is the “best effort” the country can give.
