The content of both speeches

Due to the misfortune of late Dato’ Robert Lau, Sibu has now, become the star of Malaysia. In one night, Sibu became a town that everyone is looking at, even US rate raised for unstable Malaysia political scene. Imagine how powerful Sibu can be.

Last night was the night, I finally saw those big man in politic, like, Lim Guan Eng, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Chong Chieng Jen and etc. I go for them, not because I like them or idolise them, but merely they have more interesting content than what SUPP has to offer. I believe a lot of people are with me on this one, because…

Crowded

A lot of people are there like never before.

Speaking of the content, let me make it a quick point form, easier to understand.

SUPP speech is about:

  • Their achievement throughout the years
  • How bad opposition is in parliament (oh, twisted story)
  • Their vision on Sibu

DAP speech is about:

  • Nation concern (land, water, flood and education)
  • Their vision on corrupted politic and Malaysia
  • Humor (I think that FooChow guy from KL are there for stand up comedian)

If you ask me, I would say whatever SUPP said has an effective date, and that date is tomorrow. Exactly like side effects of diet pills, everything going to be different story. Why? Because from the day I know politic, they have been doing the same thing over and over again.

Some thing that I like

Like usual, we all love to hang out with friends in the night to have some chit chat hour (I know, it sad my wife can’t do it at the moment). Not because we want to compare our life or talking about the side effects of diet pills and blah blah blah… But to communicate like we wanted and do what we like.

Coffee shop

As usual, I went to a lot of coffee shop lately. Most of my friends coming back from all around the World for Chinese New Year festival. But one thing I like the most was to talk about politic in Malaysia. I don’t know since when I addicted to politic, maybe Malaysia Today did so…

My wife on the other hand, she don’t like politic talk at all. She would prefer to mind her own business, as long as the political game doesn’t touch her :? Well, let’s just say, I need to calm down too :)

Malaysia Politic

I did not step into politic in early age. As well as most Sarawakian, that’s why ruling government can always hit a big victory in Sarawak, and some say Sabah. Mainly because over there, everythning is limited, and I have to admit that Sibu is a rural area. Not many of us online in early age. I started to follow the politic news few years back and addicted to it after March last year, that was the first time I saw opposition make into front page of every newspaper. Side note, MCA also started to appear in newspaper almost everyday (That’s when I know there is actually a community/organization/party that helps Malaysian Chinese).

Recently I saw a very unstable politic in Malaysia. As far as I concern, as long as all those scenes continue, Malaysia is not gonna move to anywhere yet, don’t even mention about Wawasan 2020. What sadden me more was the power grabbing, faults pointing, court cases. None of those are to help boost Malaysia. For me, those are just children fighting among themselves to get to number one place in class/gang and etc. I can’t say what I am lack of since I did not lack of anything yet, I’m still waorking like cow, live a life I lived for the past few years, but these situation certainly effect some people in Malaysia.

Decade ago, people started to built icon among themselves, because to be a hero is not that easy. Icon is the easiest way to get notice. Opposition leader [insert your preferable name], he is not a hero, he is an icon, an icon to democracy or some say [insert your preferable incident], whichever you prefer. Icon is how it works in this century. You cannot brand a hero, but you can easily brand an icon to be seen as hero :)

Truth that Malaysia is so corrupt, till a standard you cannot imagine. Everything can be corrupted. From policemen to getting a C4, you name it. But will Malaysia become less corrupted country? In a billion years perhaps. It’s the ethic that already built inside everybody, it is the moral value that built inside a person. Forget about what you been taught in moral studies, this is very subjective thinking. For as long as the stereotype ethic value built in a politician, Malaysia will still the same for years to come.

Today’s mind

It’s been long since I last did some comic strip. Anyway, back to a more simple one, cause I’m no more Mac users, the fantastic programs just don’t run as well as in Mac with Vista :( Anyway, suddenly the mig welder start working and I came out something simple today :)
Happen
Maybe I’m thinking too much. Well, I like to think a lot of possibilities than sticking into one mind. Because I’m either careless enough to miss a point or two, or I’m not that sensitive person that think in depth. Instead of being stupid, let’s being naive :)

Well, New PM and the cabinet is out, still same old people we always saw in the TV. Everything gonna stays the same, ISA will still be there despite the long arguement on it. Opposition still attacking the government non-stop everyday (I read m2d and the star every single day alright! Don’t test me!), I am yet to see anything happen in Malaysia. I honestly doubt the ability of opposition now, as well as the new big boss…

The new PM

So, Najib is the new PM now, this made the R.A.H.M.A.N complete, which also in the expectation of all people. The funny thing, some people find this theory is stupid  I would have to agree with that too.
Malaysia 6th PM
Anyway, the rumor about Mogolia female killer and all the rest has been and will be getting more and more attention. I wonder where are those international media goes, after they published the news about the case, now… They’re getting silence. Whatever. I don’t see any point about who is the PM or whatever. Like my mom mentioned…

“As long as we can still eat, sleep, shit, who cares about politic? Let them play themselves.”

Right… Economy downturn? My friend once asked me “Do you still eat? Do you still spend money? Do you still work like usual?” Well, obviously a large part of the nation still doing the same thing. So, what about the economy downturn? The RM60billion is not for the nation, it’s for all those big developers and business partners that loose their money in their investment. We as a simple rakyat has no benefit at all those lah~
