Let’s talk insurance

Just notice that I’m coming to 26 this year. Since I’m already a married man, I think it is time for me to consider some insurance.

Some people may freak away of insurance, well, I did too last time. Because some insurance policies are just plain wasting money, unless, saving program. Anyhow, there are pros and cons in between all the policies.

Living room

The other day, I spend some times listening and questioning with my mother, who was an agent before. In short, insurance are…

A plan to relieved yourself

Joss stick
Simply put, you always carry a backup plan for anything you did, just in case. So you know you’re in good shape in case anything happen on your first plan. Insurance, works just the same, beside it cost some fee. Whatever shit policies normally just an exaggeration from the agent themselves, the black and white (contract) always the one that talk louder.

A bank if you will

Bank
You can literally take insurance agencies as banks, but a higher bonuses. Up until today, the FD banks can offer is around 2.0 to 2.5 p.a, insurance agencies dare giving 4.0 to 7.0 p.a without guarantee. Even the worst scenario, you’ll get back 100% of whatever you’ve saved. A forceful saving it called. That’s why it is called as a “Saving program” policy.

Emergency fund if you dare

Emergency
Seriously, think of this. You insure a RM100,000 for yourself. 5 years later today, you in need of RM25,000 or end on the street. Basically, you can just cop off your finger(s) and claim as accident and get the insurance pay you the sum. There are unlimited way of claiming insurance, it all depend on your creativity.

Medical card for fun

Medical
Unless you are staying in hospital, if nothing big discovered with you, there is no coverage. Basically, the medical card is just a plain wasting money. Malaysia government strongly recommend everyone to have a medical card that cost RM500 – RM2,000 per annual and top wages pay to only RM750 per month. Great governmental planning don’t it?

For my point of view, as long as one have some saving and willing to work hard and have a healthy lifestyle, there is no need of any insurance. So far I see majority old folk don’t even use more than RM50,000 in medical.

Like I said, buying insurances are just to have a backup plan for the “in case incident“.

Mom always planning for tomorrow

Every mom is the same, they always plan, plan for their child better tomorrow.

My mom is calling for 50 this year, she has lots of plans ahead of her. I’m glad to be back home permanently and listen to all her voices.
Office
Recently she been sitting beside me while I was working at home and my wife sitting beside me. She told me how she planned for the NC health insurance, about her investment or things that might happen the next 10 years . Not only she planned for herself, she plan for all her child too.

It has been a long time I did not speak much with my mom, well, mostly because I was outside. Now that I’m home, I do finding she is a bit annoying sometimes, especially when my wife and I has some quarrel. She will call me and ask me to talk to my wife and all that common thing.

Lesson of the day: If you’re quarrel with your spouse, try to do it in the room, or better yet, move! :P

Generation Art

Both my sisters are fashion follower, as a person beside them, I can see it’s weird sometimes, it’s funny sometimes, but whatever it is, I don’t really like it :P But come to think of it, that’s human, that’s also one of the way people improve themselves, doesn’t matter how high the fuel price hike :)
Earring
I used to wear earring, both left and right. Now I don’t wear anymore, but after cutting my hair, I wanted to wear it back  I forgot when I started to act like a metrosexual though, for cool perhaps? Anyway, what I wanted to say is, I get this one ear ring when I was like… 15 years old, my mom reaction was “This kid is gonna be gangster!”, as for me, I just wanted to look cool because I am one paikia already  Well, I didn’t spend any cent to punch the hole though, a few of us use a needle and get it done ourselves. However, after a period of time, I get myself left and right earring and went back home, my mom didn’t say anything. Maybe because I’m big enough to make my own decision or maybe she’s getting her brain washed by the new generation acting. I choose her brain got washed, because she is. She might don’t like it, but she accept it as it is, but word of advice from her “Don’t regret and come back and cry”. Well, earring is fine. Everyone thought that people ridding Harleys Davison would ended up in prison decade ago, but this days, used Harleys became a motor that everybody looking.
My burnt tattoo
Tattoo, is not fine. I get myself a few tattoo as well, together with some bunch of idiots. I burnt it off myself with a pack of mosquito coil in the end of the day. I’ll be lying if I said because I scare of my dad  I was regretted to get those tattoo and I look for ways to make it disappear. Tattoo become an art nowadays and I don’t like it, but I accept it. Whenever my friend told me he/she want to get a tattoo, my advice – Better don’t. You can understand if my girl friend tell me she want to get one, I’ll be nut! But then again, sometimes I do enjoy the “artwork” too. Stopping these people from doing so is definitely gonna kill the next generation, so just accept it.

World’s Dirtiest Thing

Mom: Why are you holding the note?
Me: Going to spend it…
Mom: Put it in the wallet, don’t hold it too long.
Me: Why?
Mom: It’s the most dirtiest thing on earth! Imagine hundred people touching it, all of them touching their dick at toilet and didn’t wash and pay money, yeeee…
Me: What the fuck? No need so dramatic eh?
Sister: Then I’m sure you (Mom) didn’t wash your hand after toilet eh?
Me & Mom: -___-”

Yes, that kind of scene always happen in my family. Smart sister plus dramatic mother, a joy never end. Now you know why I love going back home ;)
World's Dirtiest Thing
Yes, ringgit note, or perhaps, money is the most dirtiest thing on earth as my mother told me! Because it’s touched by thousand and million or hands, hands that we don’t know where it used for before touching it. Yet, we LOVE this dirtiest thing very much :P If you see any kids “holding” money by mouth, tell them! Teach them!
