Friends’ friend’s friend is a human

Promote to who is a little out-dated nowadays. With social media jumping around the Internet screaming to get attention, many people knows that starting an e-Commerce is so damn easy with social media (Check your Facebook, see if you were tagged with an underwear or not).

A lot of people suggest using social media platform when they first started, when I asked why, the answer is quite consistent – Because people believe their friend and friends’ friend or even friends’ friend’s friend. In short, it is all about people, human touch. Any human, even an illustrated character with a name tags, most importantly, a human form or something.

Do you have a human touch with who you want to befriend with online? Now go get yourself a name, a photos (try to be a real one), so your new friend knows who are they talking to.

e-Commerce is now booming especially in urban clothing line. Years back, we shop online for an affordable clothing or gadget. But this myth has been erased. Those item cost online is just as much as the one in the market. I mean, the famous Malaysia “auction” site did this too.

I like this Korea Tesco idea. But if you ask me what happen when it impliment in Malaysia. Hmm… Let’s think twice.

No offend, but Malaysian don’t que, we rush in to see who can get in the trail first. Spending time shopping on the windows? They prefer to stand by in case anyone takes their place.

So it is much depend on what value a person is looking at. We Malaysian value is on the spot we stand, sit, stay and etc.

Not a nice experience

Back when the Internet provider launched, I was thrilled. Not because it has good review, but because I need one without a fixed line. However, the good thing stays for 1 month, the most.

I called the support numerous time back then, and I gave up. Because I don’t see any logic in spending for support when they are the one who did not manage it nicely. AirAsia, at least have a Twitter account that is helpful enough. I mean, answer the direct question.

Unlike this Internet provider. I asked “Where can I terminate the service?“, surprisingly, they asked me back about my contract and stuff. I’m expecting an answer to my question, not a question to a question mind you? Then I asked “Do I get refund for returning my modem?“, they get smart this time, but not a good way though, their answer was “Let us check your account and get back to you“, I ended up waiting the reply for 2 days, but they did something else – Send me the last bill. Hmm… Still not getting smart eh?

So today, I decided to just dump the device since I’m not going to take on them anymore. What is the use for a modem by them, to them? Decoration? I wanted to burn the device, but consider the environment, I rather dump it for the expert to handle the recycle.

Nowadays, having a domain and a webiste/blog is just too common. Even Fort Lauderdale car rental has a website. It’s too affordable, a mere RM200, you’ll get a domain name plus a hosting last for a year. The good thing? Having a website can always become a side-income too. Recently Mashable wrote “Internet Advertising Hits New Revenue Record“, so obviously websites are still coming in every moment.

I started off by selling websites I made for months, then paid posting coming in, I jumped into the bandwagon and now, I’m running a small web design services out of Internet.

This new media has been booming while I was still a teenagers, and now more and more people are joining this media. The potential is quite big, but how does one small fish shine in a big tank is the challenge.

At some age, we started to become rebellious, we don’t wanted to be-controlled, but to-control. That’s why we started to get rebellious.

Control

Most people wanted to control instead of being control. As for job, creative people tend to be more rebellious than other. That explain why there are so much of freelancer designer, and those wannabe.

Like, did you ever dream that you are in a perfect World of your own? Having everything exact and as you wish they all were? That is your way of controlling the World – Dream. This “control” is starting to get too over. We tend to take every single second or minute as a control too.
