I used to think that making a list of wishlist would motivate me. All my wishlist were temporary, they don’t last too long until I get bored of them, that’s why I don’t bother about the wishlist and all those. See what I can, get what I get when the time is right. Being motivated for a little item that I “want” sound a little bit naive for me Unless it is a “need” item. Anyway, here are some list I learned for the past 12 months.

1. Friend in need is a friend indeed

   When I was so busy running and preparing everything from 1 to 10 on my wedding preparation within a short 3 days time. A lot of friends came and offer their help to me. One friend came to me while I was taking rest, he said “What can I help you? You have only 2 hands, how much can you do?” and the rest become history and I’m so free after that.

2. Work with a mean boss

   Yes, that is a learning too. Because at least I know how it feels next time my friends told me about how mean their boss are.

3. WordPress

   I seriously got hooked up on the end of 2008. Though I was just playing with the theme only. After a few months on, I started to pick up quite some interesting articles and hacks on WordPress.

4. Hard work don’t always pay early

   While I was working as a construction labor, the hard work always pay on time, every month. But when it is white collar, hard work don’t pay every month on time. Hard work does pay, but not as early as you always expected. So it takes time. Starting from study and freelance to working and freelance, I just started to taste the little sweet on it.

5. Health issue a bit

   Though I always want to have more hair and use under eye cream to get rid of the dark eyes. Now I know that sleep well and eat well works. Nothing beat the on-time-delivery for the body. Yes, I started to grow my hair already

Been away with some work

Been absent from my blog for few days. Busy running with some works on hand. Hopefully it will be over before next week. THE week I’m waiting for so long… Worked overtime a few times to get ahead with my schedule so I can be more relaxing when back to Puchong

They said it is a new mall and it has all the good food and cafe in the mall. But as usual, you’ll get insurance quote from agents and credit card offer in the mall Well, Starbuck there has a good view though, that is where I spend the most.

Added “Medan” category

Since my girlfriend told me that soon she will be able to add Nuffnang ad banner on her site and I think it is also my time to add something outside to my blog category also?

Just came back from hanging around the town. After having a tea break around 2.00am I drove around the town to start working my brain out. Funny thing is, I always think more logic and clearer at night, my emotional left me a cold stoned heart to make decision, very good timing for some decision nonetheless.

The other day Alex said “You’re a design student, you should give your blog a branding, an image, a style.” I have been thinking a lot about this previously but I never had the chance to do it yet, because this is a blog, it will still be a blog and nothing but a piece of none-deleted-online-paper. Why bother eh? I still have a lot to worry about.

My girl friend and I finally come to some point that we really need a real holiday. So, here goes the holidays. New year approaching with the water as well, hopefully this is how Chinese believe, water = money, coming more = richer So if you’re planning to visit me this Chinese New Year, make sure you can swim and swim well (Don’t swallow the water ya!).

I changed another WordPress theme, it seems that the previous theme doesn’t work well with MyBloglog widget Anyway, when I was adjusting and adding stuff back into the new theme, the sidebar getting longer and longer. I tried not to use 3 columns as it’s not going to work so well with IE6 and 7, I tested and browse through most 3 columns blog theme with IE, none of them look best like in FireFox or Safari. It’s IE fault again eh?

Anyway, what a great morning. It’s good to have 2 more extra days for assignments, but it end up I didn’t do assignments this week, just want to have a little fun before everything comes in. There were another 3 big projects before the end of semester, and I’m now preparing for these 3 projects just so I can finish them easily and earlier when the brief comes in, so there was this conversation before…

Friend: So what are you going to do later back home?
Me: Doing assignments, compile some journal and do some research for the next brief.
Friend: Wakao, you know the next brief?
Me: Ask the lecturer, they will give you.
Friend: Dude, beside assignment what else you do at home? Don’t you have any entertainment?
Me: Of course I have…
Friend: Like what? Sleep? You don’t play game also.
Me: Hey, unlike you, I rather take some effort finish up my assignment first before game or whatever entertainment, it’s just another few month we’ll have holidays, by that time, you can have more fun than now.
Friend: Sigh… Be a human, cannot stick with time one, we must do something we want now, life is short, have enough fun before you go…. Blah blah blah…
