One by one

That’s what I always love to do. Adding stuff one-by-one, any stuff, just don’t hurry it up. This is the one and only habit that I have doesn’t require speed :P

TV set

Well, I don’t watch local channels, but I watch lots of movies. Time to get my torrent up again  Will be keep adding stuff with the TV, I now know why Samsung started to get up in their market, they are SMART TV yo! Will get a Blackstar Amplifiers as an add-on to this shinning baby.

Lovin’ IKEA

Started to really love IKEA with my wife now. It has been a great shopping deal with it and not to mention fun with it as well. Been to IKEA for few times this week alone. Well, since moving from apartment to a house, the size changed, now that my house is empty, we are in the midst of adding stuff (useful stuff by the way) into it. Kitchen cabinet, better wardrobe, better storage and etc.

Then TEN

Here are 10 things we bought from IKEA, delivered by the lovely sedan Proton Saga BLM. Seriously, the worktop scared me, but my Proton Saga BLM still fit in nicely :D

Working hour has to be changed from 9.00am to 5.00pm to 9.00am – 1.00pm / 8.00pm – 12.00am :P Still cope up nicely though, going to hit up with some nice sofa soon…

New home, new work space

After taking more than a month monitoring and fixing all the necessary stuff at home, I’ve finally moved in :) I am more or less like taking a DHA tanning, getting darker skin (Part of why I hate driving).

Work space

This is the first place we manage to fix up the first thing we moved everything in. Currently the best area in this whole house :) Going to work my arse off for this next few months. Time to spend wisely and get back whatever I’ve paid for this biggest item.

When joy is shared, accept it

Here lies the problem with human, they don’t like joy being shared, but they like to share their joy. The reason I choose to smile and raise my eyebrow, because joy was shared, and I accept that as an impressive achievement of his/her.

Sharing

I believe that is most people did. But some, however, are more expressive. Not impress or “happy-for-you“, but they like to give you some “cold water” so you can so-called “wake-up” from your joy (nightmare for them though). Let’s just take a quick example:

Friend A: Hey, I just bought a new Proton Inspira!!!
Friend B: Oh…
Friend A: The drive is freaking cool, the gearbox is really top-notch!
Friend B: Dude, you are buying a Proton… Be careful with its accessories.
Friend A: But…
Friend B: Hear they said that Inspira has some trouble with… (on and on)
Friend A:

This is just killing the whole idea of sharing joy. I mean, Friend B of course can have the thoughts, but when a joy is shared with you, try to keep the negative at your own bedroom or mind. After all, this is a joyful thing that Friend A finally get a car, not the brand.

I can’t think of any other terms beside “pouring cold water on you” and “jealousy“. I don’t think the “advices” are there because: 1, If you don’t have the car, why start with negativity and not curiousity (which I believe we all built with it)? 2, Hear and know has a fine line in between. Giving advice means that you know what it does and you have had experiences with it. Hearing somebody some forum means, you just checking those forum or chit-chat with friends, they mean nothing.

Prevent better than cure

Buying a new house is not an easy nowadays, dream house cost either RM700k or RM500K, so I opt for a pre-own (just to sound nicer, or second hand :P ) house. Took me around 5 months to finally getting the keys and another month of renovation and cleaning. Just when I thought I can safely move in to the newly renovated house, something came out.

Wires

All those sockets and switches doesn’t seems to work right and not to mention, they are old. At first, I have a budget to watch over, as I don’t want to spend too much for pre-own house like this, not to mention a small house. But I guess, sometimes, things doesn’t go the right way. The renovation doesn’t turn out as expected, and some are worst than a standard, so I can’t really don’t spend money to fix those you see…

Although I have choices, either renew the whole house wires and conceal it in the wall (look damn nice!), or re-wire it outside with wire casing. Well, as a person who doesn’t like not to see things, I choose the latter one…

Wiring pipe

At first, I never thought about re-wiring the house. I brought my brother (who is an Electrical Engineer) to have a look at the wires. He recommend a change, as those wire is old and rusting already. Seriously, I overlook for a while, until I find out, not only the wires are old, the whole socket compartments are old too. In a quick decision under a short timing, my wife and I just go ahead with re-wiring. It is always better to prevent than cure.

Cigars

With another week to go with the renovation (it was down to cleaning only, until another shit hit the fan :( ), I too going to be on the site for supervising  . Will be taking a new Rocky Patel cigar for some relax hours tomorrow.
