Since the day after I’d got my Macbook, I’ve been playing around with this little machine like it’s a whore! And I think I got the conclusion of all I want and she shall be back as Apple Macbook in honour

First off, I tried both Parallels and BootCamp to boot WinXP. Result is that WinXP ran faster than Mac OS, how surprise I saw the speed result between them. Not to mention Adobe Photoshop loading time. It was like a blink of eye in WinXP on Macbook, while I have some slow down loading in Mac OS. WinXP run prefectly error free and crash-free on Macbook, but viruses/spyware/adware were remind the same attack on my book, I was like, what the heck? My hard drive will and must (As I believe) always keep away from those stuffs, though they are erasable.

Anyway, late last night my itchy hands came out and boot it to Ubuntu Linux. I tried both dual boot with Mac OS and Live CD with Dapper Drake. By the way, as Macbook is Intel cored, I need to use i386 version of Live CD not Mac version. Ubuntu ran prefectly and even better than WinXP in speed but left behide a lot on booting up.

For my personal ranking in term of speed, I would go for WinXP, Ubuntu and Mac OS in orderly. And nonetheless the power of Macbook rocks the hell out of the PC I used to use (Either the old P3 I have here or P4 I have at hometown). The thing is Apple’s laptops were all very costly, but with some help (Or in other way?) of hackers, we can actually run Mac OS X in normal PC these days But it’s illegal in many ways, but as for me… Hehe…

I admit that I have nothing better to do tonight. So I downloaded both Parallels and Boot Camp to have a hand on them. Yes, I’m naughty and dirty to the Macbook. Anyway, after some try out with Parallels, I do not think that it’s an idea to run 2 OS simultaneously.

Experience with Parallels. It definately slow down both OS. Annoying Parallels windows around the desktop too. I found out that Mac OSX use their memory (RAM) exactly like Windows do. Once I opened too much application, it will slow down my operation, not to mention run 2 OS yet, 256RAM was separated for WinXP by Parallels.

A little different when running with Boot Camp. Running WinXP in a Macbook is really stable and fast, I like it a lot honestly. But when I restart to Macintosh, it slowed down the boot up a hell lot!

So… You tried? Or this slow down just apply on me? I’m planning to go for dual boot with Ubuntu

Back few weeks when I first moved to my newly rental apartment, I saw some promoter giving some yellow sticker saying about truth. And I head in to the webpage called the truth about prepaid.com. It’s yellowish, and very obvious, with the word “prepaid” it’s done by DiGi.

I like it for it tells all about prepaid thingy… But then our friend Celcom came out a mind to follow up the DiGi trick by having another domain called the truth about prepaid.com.my LOL~! It’s sound like a business war now.

Now, how can I know it’s by Celcom? First, it list Celcom as the cheapest like what DiGi did on their page, and secondly the whois of the domain…
