Damn man, that took me a lot of time to call and a lot of effort to stay away from computer :lol: There was someone called me this morning and asked me about the connection, I just told it’s fine already. Well, it is fine before the rang :? Wonder if they just want to check only…

Conclusion, Streamyx support sucks! Realy sucks I mean…

See that?! I emailed them before and it took them excatly a week to just reply an email. Are they working or filting with each with email? And the call… 15 minutes is actually just an average. Sometimes I called for 5 times just to get “Do~ Do~ Do~” What the fuck?! Hotline ringing this way? Really, Streamyx Support Sucks!

Technician: Ya, ya, ya… (Not sure why he so exciting about it though)
Me: I have this problem with connection…
Technician: Oh, you call 1300… (He not yet finished the sentence)
Me: I called and claim the report already, but it’s been a week more now!
Technician: Then you try to call 80700006 and ask the technician if they receive your report or not lah… (Sound impatient)
Me: Ok..

Well, the second call and I got another new number and should I have :D on my face?

Technician: Ya, you got connection problem is it? (I think he always get this kind of call huh?)
Me: Ya, very slow and no upload speed too!
Technician: Ya lor, these days connection so slow lah, no idea why. But your got download is it? What is the speed? (Are you try to have a chit chat with me?)
Me: 100+KBPS le… (Ya, he got it, I influenced)
Technician: Like this ar? You try to call 013-343… (Familiar? Look above man)
Me: He asked me to call you lah…

Fuck that all man… I’m not so stupid to call again alright?! I have my stuff to do and the stuff isn’t call so many times in a day. But hey, I got technician manager Encik Fahmi’s number ;) So… Do you think we all call him is better? :evil: If only I can get chicks’ numbers so easy in a day :(

Ok, my 24-48 hours was over, in fact I’ve been waiting for 72 hours. So I called in today (Saturday) again…

Me: Press 1 (For Bahasa Melayu), 1 (For Streamyx and TM Hotspot), 3 (Contact technician) and wait!

10 minutes later…

Support: Welcome to Streamyx, what may I help you?
Me: This is Wong
Support: Yes Mr Wong, what may I help you?
Me: I want to check my report update.
Support: Ok, what is your report number?
Me: 1239293
Support: Can I put you in hold so I can check the report status?
Me: No problem, go ahead

1 minute later…

Support: I’ve checked, your report is still on waiting.
Me: Why?
Support: Because our technician don’t work on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe you have to wait till Monday, I’m sorry.
Me: Alright, thank you bye-bye!

Ok, I don’t mind to wait honestly. I know they have their limit too. And also, I don’t mind to have a bad connection for a day or two, in fact, I experience it before. But as in business, you can’t give empty promise aren’t you? Do you think I have the right to sue TM?

And what is the reason of “Our technician don’t work on Saturday and Sunday”? What the fuck is this mean really huh?

Damn Streamyx

Alright, this is so sick! Never expect it would happen on me, since I’m having a great connection speed like no other. Yes, most people kept complaining Streamyx for the lack of speed as stated, lack of support, lack of uptime and all that, but not me for a year!

What happen actually you asked. Ok this is what happen. I have this package speed on 1.0MB download speed and 385KBPS uploading speed. Yeah, it’s the fastest connection for individual usage. But one fine day, I notice my connection was slow or slower than 56KBPS (Dial up), so instead of sratching my head out of the matter, I called the custormer support team to see what really happen. And after waited for like 15 minutes and called for 3 times, they finally picked it up and say a nice “Hello! Welcome to Streamyx, what may I help you?” Jesus christ, somebody finally pick up the call after 3 attempts of calling and 45 minutes of waiting time! Thanks God!

First off, they asked me to test the bandwidth test on their website, so I did, but since it’s too slow, they asked me to call back later (?!) Alright, I wait and wait, the test is like never ending at 50% for both download and upload speed, so I called up the support team again. They asked me to test one by one, so I tested download, it showed 75.04KBPS (!) and upload is like never finish and stucked at 10%. So they claimed a report for me and asked me wait for another 24 to 48 hours for this problem to fix.

What I shock was the 75.04KBPS download speed, which I suppose to get at least 900-1000KBPS speed, that is lower than 10% of my package dude! And now, I cannot upload a single thing since the upload speed is a mystery, suspected to be 0KBPS.So now I have to wait for another 24 hours to fulfil their 24 to 48 hours. Malaysia Boleh? Yeah right…
