I have no choice but to give rant on my recent newly registered P1 wimax. There are too many things happen that I cannot stand on the unprofessional services. There are far too much area they needed to improve to compete with any other broadband service provider. This is my experience of the month
Customer service
Believe it or not, you need to pay your own for calling them. I don’t know what’s so difficult for a big company to get a 1800 hotline. Each time calling there’ll be at least RM5 for the waiting and listening to their advertisement. Not to mention the time you waiting for their reply.
Technician support
Well, what can I say? The same keep on repeating like how Streamyx asking you to restart modem, use direct connection and etc. They gone even worst by no technician coming to your house, even if they do, it’ll be like a month later. How to even compete with any other broadband provider?
Myth about connection
When they said, static green LED lighting means the connection is stable. But they never state that it can connect to the Internet. Trust me, it doesn’t. If this is not a myth I don’t know what is.
My belief about P1 is different though, because such simple task can’t complete should mean something, anything that isn’t about P1.
Out sourcing customer service
That’s why it charging me for calling them. Some more they’re all well-trained to say the same thing again and again and again.
Less to no technicians
Because P1 is way too easy to setup on your computer or laptop, there’s actually no need of any technician to even activate your account. So they think they do not need any technicians. One month is way too long to wait for one technician to come and check the modem or the wave (or whatever you call it is). And since there’s this thing called QoS management, the connection/modem can be easily boost up in no time. You call, we boost; you don’t call, we cut down so other can enjoy first before you call.
Myth is actually fact
Like I mentioned about the management system. You’ll have to check into QoS management and come back to here.
