Phew~ Finally finished more than half on this assignment. It was a hectic when it comes to video assignment, especially when I have to edit it again Somehow, I do feel like it’s easier to edit video after a few exercises

There you go, another video assignment done, erm… Without the speech yet Will be adding it soon, just hope she will send it to me by tomorrow, because the presentation is on Friday! Damn! The dining room furniture is a mess now, got to clean it up soon, after I finish the whole semester though Just hope that the landlord don’t get mad at me first Should have done this whole assignment myself, it will be quicker Hmm… After this semester, I think I need to learn another new stuff in my life. Well, this semester I was learning social skill, I talk as much as I can and grab all the chances, in the end of the day, I know where is my problem. Teamwork! I can’t really work in a team though, I prefer people to follow my way Honestly, not to be arrogant, my way always easy, my way always effective, my way always fast, my way always best. But I can’t take this “my way…” to the society though

Felt Threaten

I went to campus this morning, because I have a class, obviously. Anyway, when I was on my way to have my lunch, I came across this some sort of China earthquake donation, so I walked toward it to see what they have all over the walls and booth ready.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love to donate some money to help those victims, but I ended up seeing all these shit…

I felt like my emotional being threaten you know? That’s just my point of view bokay?! Why on earth they want to show those dead body and seriously injured victims? Can’t they show me how the environment become? I’m don’t need a gps fleet tracking to track the dead body, I just want to track the situation, the map. I felt like they want me to felt sorry if I don’t do the donation, this resulting my donation is not from my willingness. I would rather give donation willingly if they tell me how the life they’re having now instead of how deathly they are in that situation. Anyhow, it’s just my point of view though…

Advertising Question

This post if for those who are into advertising though Well, there was this argument about “One concept, different idea for an advertisement campaign” and “One concept, one idea, different execution for an advertisement campaign” back at the college yesterday when we’re doing our campaign. Anyway, this is the illustrate of what I think and they think…

Which one is the correct one? We all getting dizzy after the argument, since 1 out of 4 agree my view, 2 out of 4 don’t agree and 1 more no idea what is all that about Anyway, the reason of my point is easy, first, people often said “the idea is good, but the execution is not there yet” even they suggest an “idea” (I called it as execution), the “idea” (I called it as execution) often reflect back the idea. In advertising (Correct me if I’m wrong), concept is how to tell the message, idea is on which aspect to show the message (Art directing + Copywriting CRAFTING), execution is the message (Copywriting + Art directing).

Instead, they told me that concept is how to tell the message (Art directing + Copywriting) and idea is the message (Copywriting + Art directing), there is no execution for them. Or maybe I’ the one who travel too far from the easy method? Got to get some travel guide and guide me back to the whole formula.

It’s So Hard To Manage

Yesterday, when our class was running, suddenly some lecturer want to meet our lecturer, so we stopped our class just to go to listen to a workshop cum competition.

Well, at first, when my lecturer came in, she asked us to get ready to go to some seminar hall for the workshop, because it’s lack of people attending and they need more students to be there, to maximize the volume, all the relevant lecturers were asked to be there as well. Fine, at least they are honest and telling the truth about the cause that we’re invited as compulsory.

Anyway, this competition only open for Limkokwing university students, so there are at least 1 per 8000 percentage that I could win the grand prize. Remember, it’s lower percentage compare to 4D or Toto Yes, in the end of the day, like usual this competition become compulsory as our assignment out of the blue. Sigh… Beside the unmanaged bus fee pricing to the biggest and most important thing for their consumers - Assignment, they have no ready made at all. But the prizes is attractive though

What Creative Directors Want

Yet another workshop from 95%, an advertising academy which focus on advertising industry. I’ve attend quite a lot of workshop by 95%, each workshop has their own topic and it does give me some idea about what is advertising. So I took one of the course there 2 years ago, I still remember what I’ve learnt in there though, it’s too strong comparing with college or school, because all of the works were practical…

Today in college, the workshop was about what creative directors want from fresh graduates, like me (Soon) and lots of them as well. So classmates are going to be enemies, whoa, lots of enemies now. Anyway, there was a few good feedback from creative directors like “Be on time!” Everyone laugh, because it’s what everyone doing all the time. For me, I tried not to be late in anything I’m facing, cause it is wasting people time and my time too

One more good thing is “Listen, learn“, which is also one thing that hard to apply on myself I used to be “listen, filter, understand” Anyhow, after a few drops, I think I know how important this is, not only on advertising field.

Anyway, speaking of what a creative directors wants really simple in word though. A few master pieces of works, a little common sense about lots of stuff and some personality. Simple eh? But how simple? What define a good work? One of the creative directors actually said something like “Look at your classmates’ portfolio and do opposite.“… I think I better store my lame works now…
