Crap Thursday!

Entertainment

I think entertainment becoming something very subjective and personal. A nice brand of LED TV set + Denon blu-ray player and a surround speakers are now not for all.

Like common sense, we all have it differently. That’s why I need to stop saying the phrase “Have a common sense!” anymore :P

Friends always question my entertainment need, since that most of the time I’ll be at home only. And my house doens’t have any entertainment set, no TV, no player. Just 2 laptops and some kitchenware.

Actually, what is “entertainment“? Is it something for us to kill our free time? An activity to being lazy? Luxury?

It is a home now

Last night was quite an adventurous trip for me… Went to somewhere I never went before by just a sight in Google Map at home. There is no GPS or Garmin chirp, just memory.

The handphone I installed GPS is having issue now. Maybe I should practice more driving direction than relaying on the GPS.

Klobo Sofa IKEA

Anyway, I was heading to get a sofa. We saw the sofa in IKEA, in promotion with price tagged RM349. Consider a nice price for us already. But being Chinese, we tend to discuss the value of the sofa! My wife check online and see if there is any second hand  Yes, we get a second hand exact same sofa for better price :)

No tool

I was impress, again, by how IKEA can nicely crafted a set of sofa, without the need of any tool! A few scrolling here and there, we get the sofa!

Sofa

Now it placed behind my working desk. I can get a rest without needing to go back to my room. Might made me lazy… Whatever… The most important thing is, this house is transforming to a home :)

Malaysia is peace but not harmony

A pharse I heard of when I was still young. Not sure how, but I manage to know some older people when I was 11 and 12. People that age between 18 and 24 was my friends back then. Which it ended up lending me to some other kind of person too. But that’s not the point.

Kuala Lumpur

I remember once this guy told me, yes, Malaysia is peace, and peace is what we are looking for. But Malaysia is not harmony, in terms of people to people. Harmony that is going to get us somewhere, peace is just temporary, it is just before the out burst of harmony.

I agreed, now. We all live peacefully in Malaysia. Nothing big happen here, no big time robbery, no big time gun fighting and no big riot here and there. But when it comes to harmonious, well, can’t tell yet.

I started to take a great note in politic and government on my final year of university life. I was free and I am waiting to step into the society. Government policies is among the thing I wanted to know more about.

Perkasa Gerak Aman

Now, look at the newspaper, all those daily newspaper are coming in with all sort of thing that doesn’t translate to “Harmony“. Yet, I am still one of the believer that Malaysia is going to get over that, soon… Eventhough the “Peace” is too, on the stake now :P
