Racist?

There is this old saying “When you point one finger to another person, there are 3 fingers pointing yourself”

Last night, there was this small meeting between tenants with the community group of this condominium. The meeting turned chaos for a while then slow down after that. However, it still end quite ok, and I did not attend the full meeting as well, since it is quite waste of time after the chaos happen.

Colours

If I were to tell you where I live, I think you will be shock as well. But let’s not going that way. What I wanted to tell is, the experience about this situation.

The Chairman was nice, he dare challenge everybody, anybody. I like the guts and that is exactly why he is the chairman. However, most tenants here are… Well, college boys and tend to… Act smart. But the “smart” was actually racist when they don’t wanted to be treated differently.

The thing is, if you don’t wanted to be racially different, try to put race aside when facing problem. Because when you put race in front, you know, you wanted to be treated like that.

Another lesson worth learning

Not only did the lesson should be learn, it should always keep in mind about it.

Furniture

You see, my mother, owns a furniture stores, selling all type of furniture tables, bedroom set and dinning set and all that you can name. Me however, getting bored in the store back then. Well, I went to the store when I’m having holidays, I was already a college student back then. Of course staying at the store in holiday is not an option for me.

Sometimes too, I went to the store to save it from flood, it was located somewhere near Rejang river, sigh…

IKEA

Anyway, as I grow up, I need to get myself furniture. Usually, IKEA is not in my list of shopping when it comes to furniture, the big one. Bedroom set, 6 feets working table, office chair and etc. Those are rocket high price in IKEA, so I hop to some normal furniture store.

Without the experience from my mother store, I always pick on the bad one, or rather worst of its kind.

Lesson number one: Learn EVERYTHING even if you don’t like it, it helps… In the future.

Then, it comes to… Research. We can almost find anything and everything to have a clue how to start something on the Internet nowadays. Professional bloggers of all area of field, eweb magazine and of course, Wikipedia.

Lesson number two: Everything research before act.

I learn my lesson big this month :)

A little green of peace

Maybe I should get some green stuff in my work desk. An artificial ferns will works too. Perhaps to just give some illusion for my mind by telling myself there is fresh air in the work desk :lol:

Subang Jaya, where I stay when I first stepped in KL, I was shocked with its development. No green area to view, a every morning, I was waken up by “Ark! Ark! Ark!” the crow. It is just so different from my own home town, everywhere is green, everywhere I can get fresh air, I can even hear bird singing in a much comfotable tunes every morning and evening.

Green is peace…

The new place

Ever since I moved to another new place in Puchong, I always look for a better and Classic Etagere furniture. But there are more things to consider when I live at a higher floor, a bad bad turn off :(

After my wife introduced me a few sites, those sites are now turned addictive…

So, really, sometimes, great things doesn’t come from IKEA, and maybe a new thing doesn’t always looks as you wanted. There are some stuffs I bought weeks back to get my hand dirty :) It’s going to be a great weekend projects!
