Daily Sites

Some sites I visit very frequently, for its entertaining or for its usefulness. Of course, beside Facebook and Twitter :P

9Gag.com

9gag
Sort of like Tumblr, but only works for image and video. But I just like to browse around. All those funny memes or quotations. Oh, the keyboard shortcut helps a lot!

Geek and Poke

Geek and Poke
A geek on comic. Straight forward. But not all I understand though :P

Little Big Details

Little big details
Very good to learn some UX design. It give a very short talk about how things were built to make it easy for user to understand.

Script and Style

Script and Style
Some update from scripts. Not all are quality though, but can found quite some handful helps there from time to time.

Church Create

Church Create
Not a church thing, it’s a big network, something like Envato, but not as widely known like them. A good list of network which can explore a lot of new and old things.

So yes, I’m just laying back sitting here going them from time to time when I’m thinking about something or working toward a project. I believe this is not how to burn belly fat… But hell, I’m a married man anyway

Added in a feature

Just added the post format, just the aside, and create some simple layout for it. Well, since I tweet more than I blog, I guess, I may just blog short with the format instead. 140 characters is not really enough for me sometimes :P

Aside format

I thought about making some impactful blog design, but well, it’s just some lazy blog so I don’t really care about it. After all, I test most plugins, updates online using this one  It’s like the body HGH, you need to trick it to grow. Somehow, I wanted to implement the Facebook login comment on the blog. After thinking twice, with such a low traffic and low readership, what is the point?

After this update, I check out some desktop publishing apps, so far Microsoft Live Writer seems to be the best, but it doesn’t support the post format yet. So need to login all the time :(

WordPress 3.1…

Well, just out last night. The main problem for most WordPress users will be, to update or not, because there are plugins not compatible with it yet, or so the rating says.

I downloaded and see what is so good about it. Well, let’s not start a long whining like weight loss stories, keep it as short as I can…

Admin Bar

Admin bar
This is a good thing, at least I don’t need to keep logining into the admin panel, especially for those who is not comfortable to show a login link on the site. This too, helps developers to explain much easier on how to update a post in the future.

Color

Color
I always changed to blue color scheme. Grey is just too plain boring for me. This blue scheme color update is a great one nonetheless :)

Editor screen

Editor Screen
This is the one I was looking for all the time. I used to go to functions.php to remove those unnecessary boxes. Now it can be edited :) But then again… What’s the point about columns?

Post Format

Post Format
First it was Twitter, limited with 140 characters, then Tumblr came into play. I believe learning from both of them, user don’t like to update long copy nowadays. The last option to go is to let users has all the thing they wanted to do with a system. I wonder what Custom Post Type use after this feature…

Well, the rest is just some other options and settings :P But like usual, post format need to be manually input, unless using the tenwtyten framework.
