Maintaining a white thing

I like white color, a lot. My whole wardrobe is almost white in color. Years back, while I’m still full time using my white Macbook, I spent some money and time maintaining it.

From getting some polishing gel, a good fiber fabric so it doesn’t get scratches and on. Around RM500 just for the maintaining tools. I like how white color looks like, clean and shine.

Recently, I bought a Proton Saga – White.

Ordered it while I was still in Sibu, paid all the necessary stuff, deposit and cheap car insurance. It was so shinning when I went to get the car. Then, like what I did with white Macbook. I started to get some maintaining stuff again.

Polish and wax gel, some fiber fabric, plastic protection and everything that can get my car back to white, clean and shine.

Lesson? Don’t be a pain in the arse, get a better maintaining color!

Indah Water? Worth paying for?

Recently, all language radio commercial is booming about the Indah Water. I turned on the kitchen faucet and see those yellowish water came out first, the same thing happen when I wanted to wash my car, well, it happen in my washroom too!

The “educational” radio commercial disgusted me. Basically the radio commercial telling the people (us) that we don’t know how Indah Water work and how hardworking are them to provide us a clean water.

Until today I still don’t understand why there is the need of Indah Water. All I can think of, another subsidy to corrupt by the government. Why can’t SYABAS did all those cleaning and filtering? Why must there another corporate to clean the water and SYABAS provide the water?

It may be the design not the functions

There are so many computer manufacturers, each one has their own design and series. Especially for laptop. When consumers looking for a custom laptop, I believe, consumers are more concern about the overall design than the overall functions.

Some laptops comes out with all kind of unnecessary functions. Who needs a finger print authentical?

Design

Some consumer choose Apple machine over any other in the market is due to its design. Like I will :P I still don’t believe much in the investment of getting an Apple machine is worthy compare to getting other more budget laptop.

Technology needs the help from design, in order to sell in this century. Why big corporate spending money on product design and R&D? Because it is a long-term investment for them. An Apple apps is a simple few functions apps, with it’s design, it sells. Some technology-related corporate still believe in their sales figure of last year, that is getting old….

Long holidays coming soon

Flight

Never thought I would have such a long holidays. Started next week and ended on February 18th. Shouldn’t have let my wife decided the plan. So now we are both busy on finishing some on-hand jobs and some personal projects.

I on the other hand, need to make sure I am normal back home, both homes. This few days I’ve been trying all kind of all natural sleeping aids. To make sure I can get up on time, or the old ones will start nagging :P

Not smiling is the culture

Our government has been heavily promoted the smiling campaign years back, twice as I can remember. It is a good campaign, but how many actually taken it seriously?

I reminded myself about this campaign from time to time, so people won’t be that stressful in all area of life. At least you see someone smiling back at you, it’s a sign of a good day. Each time I saw anyone, I smile. Sometimes, those with mentally illness will come forward to me and ask for a cigarette or just talking to me in their language I don’t understand at all.

Recently I saw some neighbour, I tried, but failed with some strange looking face. Maybe it is me who has a fierce face? Does smile only comes when you give a Black Diamond Jewelry to one? Or a smile cost you money, pain and etc?
