It’s about WWW already

You can also check our site at www.getacnetreatments.com too.

I remember few years back when I back home holiday watching some TV show (Back home there is a satelite has almost the whole World program). I notice that Taiwan’s TV commercial always ended with a keyword search.

Search bar

Business are going online for information. A 30 seconds TV commercial no longer sufficient to tell the whole information about the product already.

Well, it goes with personal too. If I were to check who is sending me this email, I will then type the exact email into Facebook search bar and Google as well.

When things all goes WWW, do we really has the privacy we’re looking for? When you concerning privacy (Sort of paranoid), stop thinking about using any online services. I do have friend who so concern about his privacy, never even tell the real name when hanging around with friend… :?

Big tank small fish or small tank big fish?

Kopitiam

The other day, while my friend and I sitting in a mamak having some casual conversation. He told me “What you want to be in? A small fish in a big tank or a big fish in a small tank?“.

Interesting question. Put it a simple term, if you are small fish in a big tank, you get to hide quite easily, but not easy to stand up; if you are the big fish in small tank, you’ll get to work double hard, because everyone is looking at you.

Looking at the society and situation currently, most of us are in big tank and a small fish. Everyone working double hard to stand up from someone. The situation change very quick, once you stand up, you are the big fish in small tank, people aiming for you. Like a celebrities.

It’s life cycle

Today was a long afternoon. A friend called, so I went to have a long conversation and drinks. Well, does felt sorry for placing my wife at home alone working :P

Like usual, the conversation goes from reduce belly fat, startup, working life and etc. While on the conversation, I saw a boy carrying a basket of karipop and asked if we want to buy some. Reminded me of my… Teen-hood (is there even a word?).

A lot of my friend currently see me as a rich kid, who afford to study in Limkokwing University (is claimed to be the most expensive institution in Malaysia). Maybe my luck was good, my parents finance raised up around 10 years ago, so we all went to colleges and universities. My brother even a UK graduates ;)

Pedlar

Back when I was still teen, I used to force to wake up early in the morning, carrying some kuih-muih and sell in factories, while my mother, get some job from factories and work at home (see! SOHO was back in the 90′s!!!). Beside that, we even went from hawker stalls to stalls to sell off my mother homemade fashion-line, I learn finance, account and all sort of skill set from my mother if you asked me.

Some may think that I am kiamsiap (stingy), maybe I am. But when I saw the dead governor face on the note, I was reminded that this is a paper that is not easy to earn. Each cent is treasure.

Well, I am now in that situation again, go around, asking if anyone want to buy my “kuih”. Perhaps, a lot of thing are just a life cycle, the advantage is, has you been in the situation or not that count. Because as a small business owner (or entrepreneur as I would like to be called), this is a situation of test, a test of toughness :)

Placing back to track

This few days, live has bit a little bit like prison. Locked myself at home for 24/7 and started to cook myself lunch and dinner. Pretty much save up the whole week expenses, good thing too. However, due to the long hour of working and no exercise at all, I think I should look for an affordable health insurance, just in case.

Workstation

Room is hot, weather is hotter. Seriously don’t even know how those labours can survived outside there. I was thinking of air-condition this few days… As I previously working in construction, I did survey a few affordable yet long-life air-condition :P

Going to plan for next month now. This month is enough to drive me crazy. Like most people encounter, lots of unexpected requirement, expected low paid, full of experience. This one project, not a big project, but learn and explored a damn much from there.

Internet here to help

Neh, see that guy? He is the one from [domain].com

Nowadays, having a domain and a webiste/blog is just too common. Even Fort Lauderdale car rental has a website. It’s too affordable, a mere RM200, you’ll get a domain name plus a hosting last for a year. The good thing? Having a website can always become a side-income too. Recently Mashable wrote “Internet Advertising Hits New Revenue Record“, so obviously websites are still coming in every moment.

Internet

I started off by selling websites I made for months, then paid posting coming in, I jumped into the bandwagon and now, I’m running a small web design services out of Internet.

This new media has been booming while I was still a teenagers, and now more and more people are joining this media. The potential is quite big, but how does one small fish shine in a big tank is the challenge.
