A person buying ordinary products in a supermarket is in touch with his deepest emotions.

As I were telling my wife that since we will off to honeymoon soon, why not just change the camera? A better picture worth the memory. She did agree but not in a rush, until just now.
My parents came back from Kuching this evening. They will off to Kuching later tomorrow, and they were looking to purchase a compact camera.
Coincidence or fate? I don’t know, so I told them I would sell them the compact camera that we have and buy a new one
Just business, but in a cheaper price than any market can offer. So off we go searching for a new camera, a Digital SLR to be precise.
Since it doesn’t work a lot in our daily life and cost more than what needed for us, a detailed research is very important for us. Unlike looking for weight loss pills, cost a little and can change within months. This machine have to be within our needs and last long.
So I figure I use the power of, social media. I posted a question, and some friends recommend…
Pentax K-x
Just heard of the brand for few times, not so convincing. However, a friend of mine did use this camera. Should check them out more.
Sony Alpha 330
No, Rojaks did not recommend me this one. A friend of mine who is a lecturer in Limkokwing recommend this to me. But I do get a lot of good review of this machine for starter
Olympus E450
Ok, ok, ok. I heard a lot of bad review of this brand. But hey, at least they are innovative enough to come out with Olympus E-P1, should give them some credit. A little out of my budget, but look nice, more studies needed
Olympus E620
Not as classic as E450, but worth a look.
Alright, I know I shouldn’t have left Canon and Nikon aside. But then again, their products are way ahead my budget for the little features I needed. Somehow, I am not a brand person, unlike my wife, a hardcore Canon fan. So let it be. I like the market, there are brands and product line waiting to fish customer like me!
So far, for the outlook, I prefer Sony Alpha 330 and Olympus E450
Going off to research a bit of them…
