If you haven’t notice, I actually update my twitter (or Facebook status) quite often nowadays. This is because GPRS fee is very very low in Medan. With only Rp. 10,000 I get 15MB of usage for a month, that is equal to RM3.20. If you’re using any of Malaysia mobile telcom services, 15MB should cost you like, RM15 at least. I am talking about prepaid card here, not the postpaid.

Obviously, Indonesia is on their step onto Internet, and been making a big progress here this few years. I came and back Medan from time to time for the past 4 years, Speedy (the connection I’m using now) has an impressive speed, the 1mbps is way faster than any of Malaysia ISP, sad! Some more want to claim whatever traditional with Indonesia, stop embarrassing yourself, Malaysia.

Anyhow, I still not feeling too comfortable being here. Not sure it is the environment or the habit changes… I still prefer to give myself whole lots of freedom to come and go at a place Can’t complaint much in Medan here, since the Internet is very good with me, the services like motorhome towing also very quick to avoid traffic jam, and of course, the affordable GPRS usage (I get to online using my mobile phone anytime anywhere). But somehow, it’s not easy for me to survive here, at and inside a house most of the time you know…
