Earth Hour

Who cares? Well, I did turn off my light and have a walk at the park nearby and have a little supper myself. The weather seems good tonight :)
Dark night
It was dark tonight, I can see a lot of people are supporting this event. Some family even came outside and gate door and chit chat among themselves. Suddenly it seems like a very peaceful world. Like this feeling very much, but it doesn’t stay long until I notice that my whole house was full of light. Even the small kitchen also on a 2 lights source like he is having a great eyes problem.

It’s good to see people are taking caution on the environment nowadays. Everything we speak and talk and eat are more into natural, product like natural appetite suppressant also going healthier. But something just don’t change. The mentality of people in Malaysia. They still saying they have plenty of jungle that can protect them and etc. Correct, Malaysia might have lots of jungle, but global warming happen on the planet earth, so Malaysia still included in it. KLCC did not participant on turning their light off in 2008, which is a big shame to say. But they joined today :)

Anyway, any differences between turning off the light and no? I wonder, but it does give some help on green house though… Well, except if I smoke outside :lol:

Testing Ubuntu again

It’s been years since I last touching Ubuntu. Since the improvement has been made and some even shout how good it was, I ordered a CD weeks ago. I don’t know why this time the CD comes so fast, though it’s gonna take months. Sure have a truck rental there to send tons of CD everyday.

Well, nothing much have change (Security wise? I don’t know, who cares anyway?!), they added some effect like Windows Vista, which is garbage for me. Now I’ll have to get use to something else :) Gonna love how Ubuntu works nowadays! Head off to sleep now. Weird, this few days seems to be tired… Doesn’t matter how many hour I sleep at night doesn’t really help the time I’m in office. Brand’s might help?

Malaysia is so fun now

The game called – Pass it!
Politics
Currently played by those few team only. Each day of time they will pass a question or a trouble or even, a report to one another, to see who is gonna lay down tiring first. The rules are simple though…

1, “Najib” MUST be the main topic;
2, Anwar MUST be the hero;
3, Bloggers SHOULD NOT blog too much about their internal system and deal;
4, Rejection/Declination MUST be done first every time something passed onto you;
5, If one pass a trouble to you, you MUST point them back and point one more person altogether;
6, Explore your creativity! Anything is possible as long as it is an answer.

Simple to follow? Now get back home and play with your friends instead. Seriously, some politicians need disability insurance, any and every kinda childish reasons can be questioned and answered. I really doubt these people can manage the nation.

Second attempt

So I got P1 modem that not working at first. Anyway, this weekend I’ve been trying to make it work. Because some promoters kept telling me that my area has coverage but under maintenance and asked me to wait for another few more days or weeks to try it.
P1 modem location near window
Going back home, I keep on adjust the location in my room and finally got some signal from the modem. Each time the LED light turned orange I’ll get my nerve up :? The connection is not as stable as I expected. What I expect was a stable connection that will not disconnect itself when it’s too free or on heavy usage. Pinging and test my speed on their website, it comes out…
P1 connection when slow
This is when their connection showing some slow signal (Even the LED is in green color though).
P1 connection when fast
This is when their connection is too good. And honestly this is the first experience on broadband. I signed up with the 400kbps package :D Shit you not, this tiny package speed beat Streamyx 1.2mbps hands down! Now I know what’s that call a “broadband”. But disconnect quite often though :( I’ve give it a test on downloading some files online…
P1 download speed
Running at 40kbps is not easy in Malaysia. With Streamyx 1.2mbps at home, if it runs 25+kbps I could sleep smiling already.

Everything is good, just the frequent of disconnection. I’m waiting for them to upgrade a little bit. And pray the Lord this connection gonna keep as long as I’m using them. Because I hate it when they started to tell me connection is like water pipe, the more people using it the slower it will go or whatever reason.

Getting fit is good

I always fancy about sweating. Everything I do, I just wanna get sweat off! That’s why I joined labour work previously. Ever since I came to KL for my college and university life, I hardly get a drop of sweat, half is because I’m lazy, another half, everywhere is far, for my perception.

Anyway, recently I started to jog and do some simple exercise around the park in front of my house. It felt too good that I wanna do it everyday (But time limited). So weekend has been a good time for me to get myself a jug of sweat.
My in mirror camwhore
These workout definitely giving me some mentally and physically fitness. I don’t easily get mad for the slow connectivity at home; I don’t bang my table for the slow windows to open. Thinking skill has been improved, it seems like exercising helps on my productivity :) Next week, again!
