Memory Not Compatible

Previously I went to PC Fair to bargain a pair of cheap RAM, and left a pair of 512MB memory thinking to give it a try on my girl friend’s old Acer laptop which getting slower day by day.
Somehow it is not compatible after waiting for such a long time 
I never know that memory has their unique plug as well? Because when I bought my pair of new memory, the seller told me that it’s all the same, and luckily it IS the same or else… Anyway, seems like wasted the pair of RAM, anyone want it? Going cheap o~
