Piracy In Malaysia

Malaysia, used to be the second heaven of piracy, and I think it’s still is. Worst thing is, everyone who using it use it over-confidently, you know what I mean? There is one sentence that I heard most of the time…

Don’t need to buy, just download it.

Piracy CD and DVD
We Malaysian has been over-confidently using piracy all the time. No, don’t count on the law itself to stop piracy, it’s the human morality that makes piracy bigger and bigger. Even a movie and mp3 also downloaded from the internet but not buying a thing, and all the organization keep lying us that piracy were all bad quality, but the fact is, piracy is from the original, how bad could it be? I always believe that, awareness is something nobody can change unless they themselves knows it out of the blue. Tak Nak campaign, an anti-smoking campaign that cost million was a failure, the smile campaign that cost million, I think it’s also a failure :P

I have to be honest, I use piracy too of course :P But, when I found an alternative, I change it; if I can afford it, I buy it. Now, there is one more thing people always has in mind, “Free thing not good“, and underneath this mindset, they have another statement support themselves on using piracy “Poor people want to learn to update themselves in order to repay the country” my foot! Speaking of freeware? Come on! Who use GIMP to replace Photoshop? The good thing about piracy in Malaysia is that the seller don’t need a good Philadelphia resumes to get a high pay job
