I got real pissed by this Celcom services. It was all because of the fucking prepaid register thingy, and now I know how stingy this big company is, exactly learned from their friend TM Net. I called the prepaid helpline at 0193000910 but I can’t seems to talk with a human… All this voice inside the tone was robot and robot, what the heck I said, and I head to the Celcom webpage praying to get a more updated customer phone number…

And I check and check, it cost me to call for a help as a customer of them. All I want just a human from help center, and I have to pay for using them and asking help from them, what a business is this huh?
I’m planning to switch now, I don’t mind the register thingy, I’m switching for sure, who wants to pay for a helpline? Do you want to call into DiGi helpline and they charge you for asking help on their service? Come on…

Neo, you don’t have to pay if you call from your mobile phone. For example, 123 for Maxis postpaid or 122 for Maxis prepaid. Same as Digi or maybe Celcom. But if you are calling from a land line, you are being charged.
Well, the only 2 telco I would suggest is either Maxis or Digi. Celcom/TM totally sucks, you should see how desperate their rates/packages can be. The fact that it is a sub-company of TM is enough to put me off.

I seriously don’t know why you’re pissed dude… All Telcos do not charge when you call them from your line - as jason said - but why do you have to wait till the last minute to enquire about registration?
On the other hand Jason, what do you mean by Celcom’s rates/packages being desperate? I personally think that they have the best packages amongst the 3 in terms of pricing. And you say you’re put off by Celcom becauseit’s owned by Telekom; why is this so? Do you equate Telekom being the Government here?
That is the problem with us non-malays in this country. We expect the government to treat us equally and yet we complained about anything and everything that is government-linked. tsk tsk tsk
I do not like most government agencies as well but let’s give credit to those who deserve it. and I think Celcom is one of them…

Neo: If you called thru your mobile phone to their helpline, it’s free for both Maxis and Digi.
Jason: Mostly I suggest my friends DiGi
MJ23GOAT:
First, I did not mention that I want to switch because it is part of TM Net.
Secondly, the problem is I use my mobile to call helpline cost me too. Go and try Maxis and DiGi, they don’t cost.
Thirdly, I don’t see any cheap on Celcom but coverage and landline price
The reason I choose Celcom at the first place because of the coverage and and price of the landline calling. But seems I don’t even use more than RM30 per month, I think I can use any telcom service I want…
