Using a script/template/service without putting their copyright and is BIG no-no to some publisher, and many people did so. Why? So they don’t need to link those useless-full site. But I’m also feeling weird, if a publisher decided to give it out for free, and for what reason you want a copyright there? Just to tell someone that you’re the one did it and it’s for free?

Especially on free template/layout. Once you download you have to link back to their general site. For? I don’t give the damn about GNU, GPL etc thingy man, you should know that you giving out for free already and for what you want those GNU, GPL etc? Just so annoying. I saw many site using cutenews as a news system, because it is easy to install, config and update, use no database some more But no one link the script back though

Anyway, hereby I want to tell those publisher who give free stuff and insist want a link back - SELL IT rather than FREE IT if you want to get link. Sell it for your hardwork, free it for charity. And when it come to charity ask nothing… Stupid!
